Comments:
This image combines the colors of the Eye's on the Earth
Project Inc. GeoSphere Image (Copyright) colors with the
shading developed by CERL with r.watershed. The Geosphere
(Copyright) colors are from individual single images of the
NOAA AVHRR instrument showing cloudless areas in a summer
scene and corrected to indicate human eye natural earth
color reception. The colors in every pixel were modified
based on the CERL generated aspect map. The colors and
shadings themselves do not represent a theme, rather the
image provides a very interesting backdrop for presenting
data.
